What are Dynamic Widgets? What are Static Badges?

Last Updated: Nov 15, 2016 11:38AM PST
Web-based widget player can be added to your website, or self-hosted blog.

The widget provides the following capabilities directly from your site (they do not have to go to TalkShoe):
  -  Listeners can to listen to your live call
  -  Listeners can listen to your past episodes when your call is not live
  -  Provides a direct link to your call series page
  -  Provides information on when your next episode is scheduled

How it works
1. Go to your Call Series page
2. Click "Widgets & Badges"
3. Pick the size and color of your widget
4. Copy the html code provided
5. Paste the code into your blog page or website

Watch this video to learn how to implement widgets on your self-hosted blogs or websites:

PLEASE NOTE: The site that you post the html code must be able to use that code.  Some sites, for example WordPress hosted sites, cannot use this code.  Please check with your site's provider.

You can use Static Badges on your blog or website where the widgets won't work.  They provide a link to your call series page.

BENEFITS OF WIDGETS
Hosts
Promote your Community Call by placing the widget on your blog, and other web pages.

This allows your visitors to be able to listen directly from the widget (think of it as a little player) and provides call in and participation information for your live Community Call.

Listeners
See when your favorite Community Call is live and listen directly from the widget or call into a live Community Call as a non-member.

Site Owners
Easily add content to your site by adding widgets promoting Community Calls of similar content. Or better yet, create your own.
