What is a Show Image?

Your Show Image
If you are a host on TalkShoe you should set up a "Show Image" for your call series.  The "Show Image" is a picture that is a representation of the content of your TalkShoe show.

Your "Show Image" has a different purpose than your user account's "Avatar".  Although both the "Show Image" and the "Avatar" can have the same image, often they have different images.  Find out more about Avatars.

Here is a video showing how to set up a call series and schedule episodes of that call series.
At about the 7:09 minute mark, it shows setting up a "Show Image" on the Call Series page:

The "Show Image" should be a square image (as tall as it is wide).

The file size must be 250KB or smaller.

If listing your show on iTunes, it needs to be 1400 pixels by 1400 pixels.

If you aren't going to list on iTunes, then the "Show Image" can be 300 pixels by 300 pixels.

The image can be a jpg, png, or gif (although iTunes does NOT support gif's).

Your "Show Image" should be either an original piece of artwork that you own or a royalty free image.

You can check the pixel size of your current "Show Image" by:
    - Go to http://www.chatgrabber.com (will open in a new tab)
    - Enter your show's call ID.
    - On the next screen, your "Show Image" will appear.
You can copy the image (right click on it and click copy image)
and then paste it in an image editor to see the size of the image.

If you change or resize your "Show Image", your RSS feed will not update with this new "Show Image" until you either record a new episode or upload a new episode.  Because of this, your image on iTunes and other podcasting directories will not update until you have recorded a new episode or uploaded a new episode.
