How Can I List My Show on Google Play Music?

If you want to request to have your call series listed on
Google Play Music, there are several steps you need to do.





As of September 19, 2017, Google Play Music is only accepting listings of shows from people located in the United States and Canada.

Also, only people located in the United States and Canada can view the listings on Google Play Music.

Google may change this at a future date.  If you have questions concerning this, please contact Google.





1. Make sure your Call Series settings are correct to publish your show.

Find out how to check this (will open in a new tab).





2. Go to the Google Play Music site (will open in a new tab)



3. Click the Publish button
 


4. Sign in to your Google Account
(if you don't have a Google Account, create one, then sign in).  
.



5. Copy the "Podcast Feed URL" listed on your call series.
 
1. Keep the Google Play Music page open in a tab (don't close it).  

In a new tab, you will open the TalkShoe website with the link below.  

If you are signed in to the TalkShoe website with your hosting account on the TalkShoe website, skip ahead to step 4.

Otherwise, go to http://www.talkshoe.com (will automatically open in a new tab).


 


 
  2. Click the "Sign-In" button at the top right corner of the website.







 
  3. Enter your user name and password, then click the white "Sign-In" button below.











 
  4. If you are already on your TalkShoe call series page you want to copy the Podcast Feed URL from, skip ahead to step 6; otherwise click the white "myTalkShoe" button.


 




 
 

5.
 On the right side of the screen,
click the title of your call series.


 














 
  6. On the right side of the page, click "List on iTunes".



Even though it shows iTunes,
you will need to do this step for Google Play Music
or any Podcast Directory site
.
 
 



 
















 
  7. A window will appear with a "Feed Link" URL listed in a light green box.  Copy the URL.

Please note that the URL in the example above is partially obscured
for confidentiality reasons.



 



6. Submit your podcast to Google Play Music
 
1. Reopen your browser tab containing the Google Play Music site or, if you closed it,
go to https://play.google.com/music/podcasts/publish (will open in a new tab),
click "Publish", and (if necessary again) log back into your Google account 

 


 
  2. Read the Google Play Music terms of Service.
If you agree to them, click the "I accept the Terms of service" box and click the "I Accept" button.






 
  3. On the next screen paste the URL you copied on TalkShoe into the URL field.  
Then click "SUBMIT RSS FEED".

 





 
  4. You will receive a message stating that Google is Adding the RSS feed.

If Google is successful in adding the feed, you will receive a message stating it was successful.
If it was unsuccessful, try submitting the RSS feed again.  

Then a message will appear stating that Google needs to "Confirm your email address".
Google will state that an email will be sent to info@talkshoe.com and ask
if you have access to that email address.



YOU MUST ALLOW GOOGLE TO SEND THE EMAIL TO: info@talkshoe.com

TalkShoe will receive the email and forward it to you.
You will use that email to confirm your submission to Google Play Music.



Click  "CONFIRM EMAIL".

 




 
 
5. A screen will appear asking you to enter the verification code.
 

A verification email will be sent to info@talkshoe.com, which TalkShoe will forward to you.

It may take several hours for TalkShoe to forward the verification email.

You can close the tab asking for the verification code.

The email you will receive from TalkShoe will have a instructions
which you can use to verify your submission of your Call Series 
to Google Play Music.
 


 

7. When you receive the email from TalkShoe,
follow the instructions in the email to verify your submission.
